2. Chilling Waterfall, Selangor

The lower water cascade is best for a relaxing swim while the third and upper most section is a more ideal spot to set up camp.
3. Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM), Kepong

Surrounded by tall, lush trees, The Perah Camp Site at the Forest Reserve Institute Malaysia (FRIM) is a great place for a camping spot. You’ll find everything you need on-site like a kitchen, a hall and also restrooms. While they do have chalets in the area, FRIM rents out sleeping bags and tents so you can be as close to nature as possible. While you’re here, don’t miss out on activities like biking and jogging on the many routes and treks to explore different parts of the forest.

4. Rumah Kebun Camping Grounds

If you’d like to go camping here, Rumah Kebun Camping Ground is a great spot to set up your tents. While they’ve reduced the capacity to 8 guests per camping site since the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), and you’re recommended to bring your own tents (but they also provide tent rentals if you don’t have any). 5. Sungai Pisang Waterfall

Deep within the district of Gombak lies Sungai Pisang Waterfall where you’ll stumble upon a pair of twin tunnels on your journey to the waterfalls! There are a few campsites in the area, all you have to do is choose the one that suits your group best. Do not that since the campsites are located on higher ground, you’ll need to travel down a steep slope in order to reach the waterfall. So make sure to wear a good pair of hiking shoes or rubber shoes that have a good grip.

6. Commonwealth Forest Park Falls

Also known as Taman Eko Rimba Komanwel, the Commonwealth Forest Park Falls offers a scenic view of a sweeping lush jungle. Ideal for kayaking and camping, there are four designated camping zones offering up to 51 camp sites located near two rivers and the main entrance. You can also enjoy jogging tracks, hiking trails as well as other amenities that will make your green getaway an exciting one.

7. GG Retreat

For a slice of peace and quiet, make your way to Bukit Tasek Serendah where GG Retreat lies. This awesome campsite offers everything you could possibly need for a camping trip like toilets with showers, barbecue pits and even Wi-Fi! While you’re here, take the opportunity to go for a quick dip in the river nearby or paddle on a bamboo raft to explore the vast lake. If you happen to have a motorhome, the campsite grounds is large enough to accommodate it.
