Social media personality Divyansh Tiwari, also known as Rajan Pandit, landed in a fresh controversy soon after being released on bail on Sunday.

Earlier on November 21, Indiranagar Police had sent Tiwari to jail in a forgery and rape case.

It was on Sunday that Ranjan was released from jail after a court granted him bail, following which his supporters reached jail and garlanded him. They even escorted him to his home in Gosaiganj with a fleet of vehicles and by blowing hooters.

However, the video of the road show with a convoy of vehicles went viral on social media.

FIR REGISTERED

Taking cognizance of the video, Lucknow Police registered an FIR at Gosaiganj police station.

SI Maninder Singh, Gosaiganj police station said a case has been registered under sections 188 and 279 of the IPC.

Besides, an online challan of Rs 14,500 was also issued under the Motor Vehicle Act.

Meanwhile, Lucknow Police are also planning to send a letter for bail cancellation.
