If you are looking for a glamping site near “gorge-ous” views you’ll find it in Upstate New York at a campground that was recently named one of the best in America.

USA Today’s Readers Choice awards released a list of the “10 chic glamping locations perfect for a wild and glamorous weekend” and Naturluxe & Stars in Watkins Glen, NY came in at number eight on the list.

Located next to the Watkins Glen International racetrack on 48 acres of land, Naturluxe & Stars have been taking “glamorous camping” to the next level since 2021. USA Today’s experts offered this to say about the resort: “The well-appointed tents all have a bed with a comfortable mattress, luxury bedding and down alternative pillows. Accommodations also have a floor fan, lamp, a luggage rack and a reading chair.”

Naturluxe & Stars’ website describes the resort as being designed for those who revere both luxury and the outdoors.

According to the CNY Business Journal, guests can choose from three different styles of tents to stay in which includes bell tents, platform tents, and the most luxurious option — safari-style platform tents with in-tent bathrooms, coffee makers, and electrical outlets.

Inside the resort’s modern bathhouse, guests will find private full bathrooms. For those wanting to take in as much nature as possible, there is a private outdoor shower with double shower heads for the ultimate under-the-stars experience.

Naturluxe & Stars won’t leave their guests hungry either as all will receive supplies for campfire s’mores.

New for the 2023 season, Naturluxe will offer dog-friendly bell tent accommodations as well as group and corporate retreats.

The Finger Lakes getaway is close to several activities, including the best park in New York, Watkins Glen State Park. With its 19 waterfalls and dramatic gorge views, the park is a must-see in the area. The resort also has on-site hiking trails.

For wine lovers, the nearby Seneca Lake wine trail is a great way to spend the day with stops at historic Belhurst Castle, Damiani Wine Cellars, and Castle Grisch. If beer is more your style, the area has unique offerings like British-style beers by Seneca Lake Brewing Co.’s Beerocracy and the makers of a beer for every palate at Lucky Hare Brewing.

The glamping resort has also partnered with local vendors to offer couples massages, guided horseback riding, boating excursions, fishing charters, and more, which can be added on to any stay.
